PRIVACY POLICY FOR THIS WEBSITE

These privacy guidelines (the “Privacy Policy”) apply to the website spine-pldd.com (the “Site”) and relate to the processing of personal data carried out by spine-pldd.com of Dr. Gian Paolo Tassi (hereinafter, “spine-pldd.com”) for the purpose of providing services through the Site and, with the user’s consent, for marketing purposes. This Privacy Policy has been drafted in accordance with Recommendation No. 2/2001, adopted on 17 May 2001 by the “Article 29” Working Party on the Protection of Personal Data regarding minimum requirements for online data collection in the European Union, and also serves as information notice to data subjects pursuant to Art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, No. 196 (the “Privacy Code”). The Privacy Policy specifies the identity of the data controller, the types of data collected, the purposes and methods of processing, whether providing data is mandatory or optional, the scope of disclosure of the user’s personal data to third parties, the security measures adopted to protect such data, as well as the user’s rights and how such rights may be exercised.

Types of data collected. Purposes of processing

Data provided voluntarily by the user

spine-pldd.com collects and processes personal data voluntarily provided by the user in order to provide consulting services through the Site and related activities, including, for example, fraud prevention, returned items management, product warranty, customer support and interaction with our Customer Relations Service, participation in initiatives offered on the Site, requests to spine-pldd.com for information regarding the purchase of products, or sending a communication to spine-pldd.com by traditional mail or via the Site. We will also process the user’s personal data to assert or defend a right in court and to comply with obligations provided by laws, regulations and EU legislation.

The collection of users’ personal data by spine-pldd.com will necessarily concern only the data strictly necessary to provide the requested services and related activities.

In addition, with the user’s prior, free and optional consent, spine-pldd.com may process the user’s personal data also for marketing purposes, i.e. to send the user—also by email—information about services and similar initiatives organized by spine-pldd.com or in which spine-pldd.com participates. Personal data processed

The personal data that spine-pldd.com collects and processes include title, first name, last name, address, telephone number, email address, tax code or VAT number, and any other optional information. In the specific sections of the Site where data are collected, a specific notice pursuant to Art. 13 of the Privacy Code is published. Where required by the Privacy Code, spine-pldd.com requests the user’s consent before processing personal data.
Provision of personal data

Providing data is necessary to manage customer contact through the Site and related activities, including, for example, fraud prevention and interaction with our Customer Relations Service. In addition, providing the user’s personal data is mandatory to comply with legal provisions; failure to provide personal data in the cases indicated above will make it impossible for the user to receive the services requested from spine-pldd.com and to receive the replies and information requested from spine-pldd.com.
Providing data for marketing purposes, as specified above, is free and optional; failure to provide such data will have no consequences.
Features and methods of processing personal data

Personal data collected by spine-pldd.com are processed mainly by automated, IT and telematic tools. Such data may also be processed without electronic tools, i.e. by manual means. In any case, data are stored only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the specific purpose pursued from time to time, in compliance with the Privacy Code, including security requirements and confidentiality obligations. We process data in accordance with current security provisions to minimize the risks of destruction or loss (including accidental), unauthorized access, unlawful processing or processing not consistent with the purposes of collection, and unlawful or incorrect use of data.
Scope of disclosure of personal data

spine-pldd.com discloses the user’s personal data within the limits and in the manner specified below, in full compliance with the consent expressed by the user when data were collected, where required by the Privacy Code.
Data will be accessible to our internal and external staff appointed to process them.
In addition, the user’s personal data may be disclosed to third parties providing technical and organizational services that spine-pldd.com may use for the processing purposes described above.
The parties indicated above will process the user’s personal data for the purposes described above and will be provided only with the information necessary to perform their tasks. It is understood that the user’s personal data will not be disclosed to third parties for their own promotional purposes and will not be disseminated in any way.
User’s rights

Pursuant to Art. 7 of the Privacy Code, the user, as data subject, has the right at any time to obtain confirmation as to whether personal data concerning them exist, to know their content and origin, to verify their accuracy, request integration, updating, rectification, deletion, anonymization, blocking of data processed unlawfully, and to object to processing for legitimate reasons.
